B.ED. (Seats – 200)
Bachelor of Education is a Two Years’ regular Course. Mehar Chand College has an intake of 200 seats of B.Ed. which are approved by Government of Punjab, Affiliated to Punjabi University Patiala and Recognised by National Council for Teacher Education.
For admission to B.Ed.; a candidate must possess a Bachelors or Post Graduate Degree with atleast 50% marks (for General Candidates) or 45% marks (For SC/ST/OBC) category. Every year, the admission to the B.Ed. Course is strictly done as per the latest notification of the Department of Higher Education, Government of Punjab.
